In the role of Site Civil BIM Designer, you'll be responsible for:

  • Working within a specific discipline under the supervision of an Architect/Engineer or other technical professional.
  • Managing your discipline model and generating BIM elements based on the Level of Development (LOD) outlined in the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and project scope.
  • Creating and maintaining the discipline model, systems, content, and overall digital delivery output.
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, or other professionals for guidance, while being technically competent in your discipline and software tools.
  • Modeling BIM elements accurately within the current 3D software environment.
  • Preparing detailed drawings, layouts, and diagrams within project scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
  • Maintaining the discipline model with accurate project information, coordinates, scales, and views.
  • Producing discipline-specific documentation with precise annotations.
  • Monitoring and improving company standards and model health.
  • Coordinating design with other discipline models through design reviews and 3D coordination processes.
  • Executing additional Digital Delivery requirements as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Technical degree or at least 3 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proficiency with 3D design software and document management systems.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office products and communication tools.
  • Experience with 3D coordination tools.
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Intermediate understanding of engineering or architectural concepts.
