Job summary

KIPP Northern California is seeking an Admin on Special Assignment in Redwood City. This on-site role reports to a school leader or Deputy Chief of Schools and drives instructional excellence by coordinating coaching cycles for core staff, ensuring continuity during vacancies and leaves and aligning schedules with ILT cadences.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of leadership experience in a school, five years of teaching, and a BA.

Qualifications

• Three years of leadership experience in a school setting leading coaching and professional development of teachers.
• Five years of teaching experience.
• Demonstrated success with students from educationally underserved areas.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coaches staff on curriculum, internalization, and planning to improve instructional practice.
• Monitors and analyzes summative and formative data to tailor coaching plans.
• Ensures timely completion and effectiveness of coaching activities with proper documentation.
• Designs professional development sessions addressing school needs and content team scope.
