Job summary

Ramboll is recruiting an Environment and Consents Manager to support discharge of DCO requirements and management of secondary consents for major infrastructure projects. The role is predominantly site-based, collaborating with contractors, planners and regulators to ensure environmental compliance and timely consent execution.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage evidence packs, and translate commitments into practical controls across Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire or Suffolk while

Qualifications

• Experience with DCO requirements discharge and secondary consents.
• Experience in environmental management plans and commitments registers.
• Ability to communicate complex regulatory information clearly in writing and meetings.
• Proven ability to work on-site with contractors and delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the management of DCO requirements, secondary consents and environmental compliance for major projects.
• Develop and maintain discharge trackers, consent registers, and evidence bundles.
• Coordinate with regulators, authorities, contractors and specialists to resolve consenting issues.
• Review environmental permissions and translate commitments into practical controls and checks.
• Provide on-site support and ensure robust close-out evidence for compliance.
• Mentor juniors and contribute to bids and delivery plans for consenting and environmental management.
