Job summary

Concordia Wireless, a division of Concordia Group, seeks a Site Acquisition Specialist to support expansion from Illinois. The role is remote but based in Illinois, offering a strong benefits package and growth opportunities.

You will manage site acquisition activities, liaise with municipalities, and help secure land use approvals for telecom projects. Responsibilities include candidate searches, leasing coordination, and coordinating with legal and customers on terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning or similar with interest in land use or land planning.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of GIS maps and codes; ArcGIS coursework acceptable.
• Knowledge of real estate fundamentals; zoning and permitting experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; experience with jurisdictions is nice to have.

Responsibilities

• Manage new build sites, cell site decommissions, and relocations from search ring to real estate completion.
• Manage modification sites from site audit to real estate completion.
• Attend weekly meetings with internal departments and outside vendors to guide progress.
• Prepare candidate information packs for leasing, permitting, and land use; review contracts to optimize costs.
• Coordinate zoning and permitting with jurisdictions and prepare applications.
