Job summary

Strategic Logistics in Virginia is seeking a Forklift Operator/Material Handler to join our team. Your role centers on the safe, efficient movement of products and materials within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading with a forklift, receiving and stocking merchandise, validating orders, picking for customers and transfers, and assisting with inventory counts. A background screen and drug test are required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a sit-down forklift or similar industrial vehicles.
• Ability to perform physical workload safely and efficiently.

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the inventory of the Warehouse freight and materials in a fast paced environment. The ultimate goal of this role is to procure, process, and dispatch products to customers and vendors.

Essential Duties/Accountabilities:

• Daily loading and unloading of products in truck utilizing forklift and/or hand truck.
• Receive, inspect and stock all merchandise.
• Verify all items received to items ordered for accuracy.
• Pick and verify orders for customers and inter-office transfers. Prepare orders for shipment as needed.
• Responsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance.
• Assist management with inventory counts and provide daily upkeep of the Warehouse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen
