Join our dynamic team as a Forklift Operator and take charge of moving materials that keep our operations running smoothly. In this fast-paced role, you'll operate electric-powered industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices to safely transport products, equipment, and materials throughout our facility. You'll play a key part in loading and unloading items onto pallets, skids, or other lifting devices—always following strict safety regulations and company protocols. Opportunities on 1st and 2nd Shift

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Position forks, lifting platform, or other lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials, and transport, load, and unload to a designated area.
2. Record weights, counts, and conditions of items via a Radio Frequency (RF) system.
3. Complete daily forklift maintenance and check sheets.
4. Lead safety inspections on truck chalking and glad-hand processes.
5. Communicate with semi-truck drivers to ensure safety precautions.
6. Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries; leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to understand instructions in the country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C in cold storage or up to 100°F/37°C in dry storage while wearing appropriate PPE and freezer gear.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs./18 kg; weight may vary depending on the facility.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if needed.
• Comfortable with various noise levels, which can sometimes be loud.

Pay Range: $15.50 - $26.06
