Job description

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to load and unload materials and products.
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels.
• Ensure safe handling of materials in compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts and other equipment.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate daily operations and prioritize tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Assist in training new employees on safe forklift operation and materials handling procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role in a warehouse setting.
• Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks and cranes.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is preferred.
• Strong understanding of materials handling processes and safety regulations (OSHA).
• Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Valid forklift operator certification is a plus.
