Qualifications

• Must pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background, and criminal checks.
• Able to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work flexible hours including overtime, occasional weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operating filler equipment efficiently and controlling accurate fill weight.
• Maintaining machinery care, quality of the package, and efficiency of line operating.
• Cleaning equipment and work area, and keeping accurate production and FSAP records.

Job description

JOB SUMMARY

Kemps has immediate job openings for well-versed machine operators to perform an array of functions including maintaining, breaking down and setting up equipment and machinery, while troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating issues. A few job responsibilities include operating filler equipment efficiently including controlling accurate fill weight control; proper sealing of containers; cleaning equipment and work area; accurately keep production and FSAP records and operating other packaging equipment when line is not running. Must be willing to accept responsibility of machinery care; quality of package; weight control; proper coding of package and efficiency of line operating. Other duties as assigned.

OUR MACHINE OPERATOR FOR THIS POSITION MAKES:

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, start time 3:00PM (8 hour shifts)
