This position is offered by SMR LLC, a member of the Holtec International family—a global turnkey supplier of equipment and systems serving the nuclear, solar, geothermal, and fossil power generation sectors. Join a growing, multidisciplinary team of designers and engineers working on the next‑generation nuclear power plant. Holtec International is seeking applicants for the role of the Simulator Design Engineer III. This position is responsible for the development and maintenance of software used in the SMR‑300 simulator. The Engineer will apply industry best practices, regulatory guidance, codes and standards, and engineering expertise to support control strategy development and simulator‑assisted design activities. The Engineer will be part of a dynamic team executing a U.S. Government cost‑shared development program, requiring efficient completion of engineering assignments. The role involves working with advanced simulation tools, integrating system models, and ensuring simulator fidelity for operator training and engineering applications.
