Job summary

Goldbelt Nisga’a TEK, LLC is seeking a Simulation Technician Instructor to support medical simulation operations across training sites and clinical skills labs.

The role requires CHSE certification or ability to obtain, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and hands-on experience with high-fidelity simulators, AV equipment, and Class VIII medical gear. Competitive benefits and paid time off are included.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• IAW CHSE requirement for Healthcare Simulation Educator certification.
• Certification as CHSE/CHSE-A/CHSOS or ability to obtain within 2 years.
• CompTIA A+ certification either already or within 150 days of hire.
• Forklift license to be obtained within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Serves as SME and equipment site maintainer for all medical simulators and devices.
• Manages maintenance, setup, and disestablishment of clinical training areas (skills lab, Role 1-3 facilities).
• Leads moulage and simulator user training; orders and maintains Class VIII equipment and moulage supplies.
• Coordinates with instructors to meet simulator training requirements.
• Acts as SLOC holder for simulator and skills lab materials.
• Identifies simulators needing higher maintenance and coordinates material evacuation/return.

Summary: Goldbelt Nisga’a TEK, LLC is seeking a Simulation Technician Instructor.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions

• Serves as the SME and equipment site level maintainer for all Medical Simulators and Devices.
• Manages all aspects of regular maintenance, setup, use, and disestablishment of clinical training areas to include skills lab, Role 1-3 facilities, and other training areas.
• Serves as the primary instructor/trainer for moulage and simulator user level training. Responsible for ordering and maintain Class VIII medical equipment, moulage supplies, and other material related to the operations of simulators and clinical skills training areas.
• Works with instructor/trainers and staff to ensure simulator training requirements are met for section modular training.
• Serves as the SLOC holder for all simulator and skills lab materials.
• Identifies simulators that require higher level maintenance and tracks/coordinates all material evacuation and return requirements.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
• Highly proficient in using Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
• Required proficiency in the use of audio/visual equipment.
• Proficiency with high fidelity patient and canine simulators, software, hardware, and maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
• IAW Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) requirement.
• Possess certification as a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE), Certified Healthcare. Simulation Educator - Advanced (CHSE-A), or Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist (CHSOS) by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSIH) or be able to obtain CHSE certification within 2 years from date of hire. • CompTIA A+ certified or achieve CompTIA A+ certification within 150 days of hire.
• Shall obtain rough terrain forklift license within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000 per year.
