Job summary

HII Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, is seeking a Simulation Systems Engineer to support the Joint Integrated Test and Training Center at Nellis AFB, NV. The role involves hands-on work with live, virtual, and constructive simulation environments and integration efforts for the JSE team.

The candidate will install, maintain, test, and document flight simulators and related systems, supporting real-time simulation development and software-in-the-loop testing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with a Bachelor's in related field; 3+ years with a Master's; or 0 years with a PhD/JD.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance within last 24 months.
• Experience with high-fidelity flight simulators of military aircraft and weapon systems.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support JSE engineering team to sustain, develop, test, and config manage flight simulators and related systems.
• Install, calibrate, maintain, repair flight simulators and associated support hardware and software.
• Develop simulation software unit tests and automated test scripts.
• Collaborate with customers, program management, and engineering teams to resolve issues.
