A high-performance team is seeking a mid-level Simulation Software Engineer to support NASA’s Orion spacecraft under the Artemis program in Houston, Texas. The role involves developing and maintaining high-fidelity simulations while collaborating with various engineers to optimize the software using Python and C++. Ideal candidates have a relevant bachelor’s degree and experience in software development, particularly within aerospace environments.
METECS is seeking a mid-level Simulation Software Engineer to support NASA’s Orion spacecraft as part of the Artemis program. In this role, you’ll help develop, test, and maintain high-fidelity simulations that model Orion’s complex systems and interactions with the Space Launch System (SLS), Co-Manifested Payloads (CPLs), and the Gateway lunar space station.
This position spans the full software development lifecycle—from systems engineering and requirements definition to implementation, CI/CD support, and integration testing.
