Job summary

Datwyler is seeking a Simulation Engineer to advance product development through numerical simulation, material modeling, and engineering analysis. You will work with internal teams and customers to optimize elastomer component performance and improve manufacturing processes in a hybrid North Canton environment.

The role entails collaboration across engineering and customer partners, with duties including documentation of findings and recommendations, and ongoing method development in testing

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant engineering or science field.
• Experience with ANSYS or ABAQUS is required.
• Strong understanding of structural mechanics and material behavior.

Responsibilities

• Perform finite element simulations to evaluate and optimize product performance.
• Support product development through simulation, material modeling, and engineering analysis.
• Provide technical guidance on simulation results, material behavior, and product performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, laboratories, customers, and external partners.
• Document and present technical findings and recommendations.
