Comrise is seeking a Simulation Engineer to support development and optimization of vehicle ride, handling, stability, and overall dynamic performance for autonomous mobility programs. You will leverage multibody modeling and CAE tools to evaluate performance and guide design choices.

You will collaborate with chassis, CAE, NVH, vehicle controls, and integration teams to deliver a safe, responsive platform.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in vehicle dynamics engineering or related simulation roles.
• Experience with CAE tools, especially MSC Adams, CarMaker, MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience with CAE-to-test correlation and validation of vehicle dynamics models.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain high-fidelity multibody vehicle dynamics models using MSC Adams.
• Support ride and handling development via CAE simulations, physical testing, and engineering analysis.
• Generate suspension, full-vehicle, and powertrain loads per established processes.
• Establish, evaluate, and validate vehicle dynamics metrics and performance targets using simulation results and physical test data.
• Collaborate with design teams and supplier partners to improve component performance and vehicle dynamics characteristics.
• Work with chassis, NVH, vehicle controls, CAE, and vehicle integration teams to balance ride quality, handling, stability, and overall vehicle performance.
• Support active safety performance development and validation in alignment with applicable automotive industry standards.
• Correlate CAE simulation results with vehicle and subsystem test measurements to improve model accuracy and predictive capability.

About the Opportunity

We're seeking a Simulation Engineer to support the development and optimization of vehicle ride, handling, stability, and overall dynamic performance.

In this role, you'll leverage advanced simulation, multibody modeling, and physical test data to evaluate vehicle performance and improve simulation accuracy. You'll work closely with cross-functional engineering teams spanning chassis development, NVH, vehicle controls, CAE, and vehicle integration to help deliver a safe, responsive, and reliable autonomous vehicle platform.

Transferable experience with other hardware products in the Aerospace, Medical Devices, and other industries is also accepted.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in vehicle dynamics engineering, performance development, or simulation.
• Hands-on experience with vehicle dynamics CAE and simulation tools, particularly MSC Adams, CarMaker, and MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience with CAE-to-test correlation and validation of vehicle dynamics models.
• Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics principles, including ride, handling, suspension performance, and vehicle stability.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
