Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Simulation Educator to advance simulation-based learning across the Bronx campus. The role involves programming scenarios, coordinating faculty-led activities, and ensuring readiness of equipment and learners for high-quality teaching experiences.

You will work with CSP staff and program leaders to develop curricula, assessment tools, and learning objectives that enhance clinical competency and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Education, Allied Health or related field.
• Master's degree in Education, Simulation, Healthcare, Nursing or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years in healthcare simulation or related educational technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, coordinate, implement, and evaluate simulation-based educational activities.
• Program, test, and facilitate simulation scenarios with high-fidelity simulators.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to align objectives with program goals.
• Facilitate debriefing sessions and provide educational coaching to learners.
• Maintain documentation on simulations, evaluations, and outcomes.
• Support equipment maintenance, inventory, and vendor coordination.
• Contribute to research, quality improvement, and emerging educational strategies.
• Collaborate across Montefiore Einstein campuses on simulation initiatives.
