Job summary

Montefiore New Rochelle seeks a Clinical Simulation Educator to advance simulation-based learning across campuses. You will design objectives, develop scenarios, and coordinate simulation events to strengthen clinical competencies and patient safety.

The role emphasizes debriefing, faculty development, and use of high-fidelity simulators and VR technologies, with travel between Montefiore Einstein campuses as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Education, Allied Health, or related field required.
• Master's degree in Education, Simulation, Healthcare, Nursing, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience using simulation/VR/AI or emerging educational technologies in healthcare education.
• 1-3 years of experience in clinical, nursing, or allied health education, including curriculum development and learner assessment.
• 4-6 years of healthcare experience setting.
• Certification in Healthcare Simulation or equivalent credential on hire or within timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with faculty to design, coordinate, implement, and evaluate simulation-based educational programs.
• Develop learning objectives, scenarios, curricula, assessments, and educational resources.
• Facilitate simulation sessions and create a supportive learning environment.
• Program, test, and operate high-fidelity simulators and VR systems; coordinate logistics.
• Provide debriefing, educational coaching, and performance feedback.
• Train faculty on simulation methodologies and technology; maintain documentation.
• Support equipment maintenance, inventory, and vendor coordination.
• Participate in research and innovative educational projects using simulation.
