Responsibilities include:

1. Receiving payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
2. Issuing receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to guests.
3. Assisting guests by providing information and resolving complaints.
4. Establishing or identifying prices of goods, services, or admission; tabulating bills using calculators, cash registers, or optical price scanners.
5. Greeting guests entering establishments.
6. Providing information on company procedures or policies.
7. Processing merchandise returns and exchanges.
8. Maintaining clean and orderly checkout areas and performing general cleaning duties.
9. Providing exceptional service to each guest in a positive manner.
10. Assisting stock crew with loading/unloading and stocking shelves.
11. Following supervisor instructions for stock placement and product rotation.
12. Performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum requirements include physical ability to lift, push, bend, squat, climb, and tolerate temperature changes, along with availability to work nights, holidays, and weekends. Candidates may need to undergo drug and background screening.

Qualifications include good communication skills, being a self-starter and team player, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency. The work environment is grocery retail, and Houchens Food Group is an equal opportunity employer.
