Job Summary:

Operates a commercial vehicle to transport water and/or other materials to job sites; distributes water and/or materials on job site.

Main Responsibilities:

* Embrace the Company's safety culture, actively support all safety initiatives, and adhere to defined accountabilities implemented by the Safety Steering and Continuous Improvement teams
* Support, promote, and practice the Company core values, vision, and mission; follow code of ethics, workplace conduct, safety, and other established policies
* Perform pre- and post-trip safety inspections on truck to ensure safe operation of vehicle
* Ensure safe operation of vehicle; document and report required maintenance and/or repair to maintenance team
* Follow procedures for safe operation of vehicle, including securing cargo before, during, and after transit, and positioning blocks as required
* Follows procedures required to connect/disconnect hoses and water lines for tank fill and distribution of water
* Maintain a clean vehicle, including vehicle exterior and interior of operator cab
* Safely operate assigned vehicle(s); may be required to operate multiple types of vehicles
* Assist in loading and unloading of materials in truck bed
* Prepare bill of lading and/or similar documentation for loads transported
* Maintain accurate documentation related to job assignments as required by the Company
* Maintain regular contact with supervisor to receive pick-up and delivery instructions
* Maintain driver logs according to state and federal regulations
* Perform other projects and duties related to role as assigned

Education:

Class A with tanker endorsement and valid medical card

Skills:

* 2 or more years of commercial driving experience preferred
* Prior experience in construction or similar industry a plus
* Ability to maintain a clean driving record and compliance with applicable FMCSA CDL driver requirements
* Ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers and other team members
* Ability to read and write, and understand basic documents

Physical Requirements:

* Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
* Occasionally required to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds
* Required to work from a seated position driving a commercial vehicle for long periods
* Regularly required to climb in and out of vehicles and/or equipment
* Regularly required to use hands to handle and manipulate objects, including vehicle components, and secure hoses, chains, and/or couplings
* Regularly required to communicate (talk and hear)
* Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
* Regularly required to stand and walk across uneven terrain
* Frequent exposure to loud noise
* Regularly exposed to all outdoor weather conditions, dust, and airborne particles, exposure to high temperatures
* Regularly exposed to fuel, oil, and other chemicals
* Occasional travel with overnight stays away from home may be required

Benefits and Perks:

Compensation*: $24-$30/Hr DOE

*Estimated target starting compensation; actual compensation to be determined based on assessment of an individual's qualifications, education, and experience relevant to the role.
