Job Summary:Operates a commercial vehicle to transport aggregate materials (soil, sand, gravel, asphalt, etc.) to and from specified destinations; performs other related duties as assigned in support of material production and construction operations.
Main Responsibilities:High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Class A CDL with endorsements and valid medical card required.
Skills:2 or more years of commercial driving experience preferred; construction experience and experience operating multiple types of vehicles/combinations highly preferred. Prior experience in construction or similar industry a plus. Ability to operate different commercial vehicles, including but not limited to belly dumps, side dumps, end dumps, water trucks, etc. Ability to maintain a clean driving record and compliance with applicable FMCSA CDL driver requirements. Ability to interact on a professional level with internal and external customers and other team members. Ability to read and write, and understand English.
