We specialize in providing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions designed to optimize water, wastewater, and biogas facility operations. We are seeking a dynamic SIMBA# Technical Sales Manager to lead the commercialization and sales efforts for our SIMBA# product. This role combines technical expertise with strategic sales acumen to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

SIMBA# Technical Sales Manager
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Commercial Strategy
  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive commercialization strategy for SIMBA#.
  2. Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within the UK, USA, and Canada markets.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize features and gather requirements.
  4. Navigate complex sales cycles and manage objections to successfully close deals.
  5. Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding their needs.
  6. Proactively engage with prospects through various channels (cold calling, email, social, events).
  7. Coordinate customer and technical support to ensure satisfaction.
  8. Gather and incorporate customer feedback into product development plans.
Market Analysis & Competitiveness
  1. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop strategic sales plans.
  2. Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and product updates.
  3. Travel quarterly to visit customers and prospects.
  4. Conduct thorough needs assessments with clients.
  5. Provide solution demonstrations and align product offerings with client objectives.
  6. Ensure clients receive comprehensive product and service information.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Chemical/Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  2. Proven success in technical sales, preferably within SaaS, with a strong sales strategy execution.
  3. Experience with modeling and simulation software, preferably SIMBA#.
  4. Strong understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes.
  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  6. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  7. Self-motivated with a passion for exceeding targets and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
