Job summary

Tri-Fin LLC, a long-established metal finishing specialist based in Elk Grove Village, IL, seeks a Silk Screener to join our on-site production team.

You will set up and operate screen-printing equipment to apply designs on metal and coated surfaces, prepare screens, mix inks, align artwork, and perform test prints to ensure quality. You will inspect finished parts, maintain equipment, and coordinate with coating teams to meet customer deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience with screen-printing processes and substrates.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and artwork specs.

• Mechanical aptitude for operating and maintaining screen-printing equipment.
• Basic math and color-matching for ink mixing and registration.

Role Description

The Silk Screener is a full-time, on-site role based in elk grove cillage IL. This role is responsible for setting up and operating screen-printing equipment to apply designs, labels, and markings to metal and coated surfaces. Day-to-day tasks include preparing screens and materials, mixing and matching inks, aligning and registering artwork, and performing test prints to ensure quality and accuracy. The Silk Screener inspects finished parts for defects, maintains equipment and work areas, and follows established safety and quality standards. The role also collaborates with production and coating teams to coordinate workflow and meet customer deadlines, including working on varied job sizes and custom orders.
