Job summary

Plasticard Locktech International is seeking a Silk Screen Operator to perform screen printing duties, prepare stencils, mix and load ink, and maintain equipment. You will also keep records of work completed and job history.

The role requires attention to color accuracy, problem-solving skills, and the ability to follow job tickets. Applicants should have at least a high school diploma and experience in offset printing; art or graphic design is a plus. This is an on-site, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Requires three years of prior experience in offset printing and prep work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with a good eye for color.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Print with repeatable results and troubleshoot ink/press issues.
• Verify job ticket details including ink color matching.
• Perform quality checks throughout the run.
• Ensure correct quantity printed before cleaning for next job.
• Participate in screen making steps (screen stretching, coating, exposure, wash out).
• Safely perform physical tasks and abide by safety guidelines.
• Work overtime as needed to meet customer needs.
