Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking an NPI Product Supply Chain Program Manager for Silicon One products within the Silicon Manufacturing Operations team.

You will own the end-to-end supply chain for a product family, guiding demand, materials, and schedules to ensure on-time delivery. Responsibilities include production readiness, demand & supply alignment, order management, planning parameter oversight, and fulfillment oversight in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in supply planning or supply chain management within the semiconductor industry.
• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes and supply chain principles.
• Experience with BOM structures, manufacturing routing processes (including alternative routes and materials), and product configurations.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end supply chain for a product family from demand to delivery.
• Translate demand into resource requirements including raw materials and schedules.
• Manage supply allocation and ship dates for new orders and revisions.
• Analyze system lead times and yields; communicate updates weekly to meet customer requirements.

Meet the Team Join Cisco's Silicon Operations Team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of networking as the NPI Product Supply Chain Program Manager (SCPM) for our innovative Cisco Silicon One™ products. This is an opportunity to be at the forefront of next-generation network technology, working within a dynamic and customer-focused supply chain organization. As a key member of the Silicon Manufacturing Operations (SMO) team, you will be the end-to-end owner for a product family, ensuring seamless supply chain execution from customer demand to product delivery.

Your Impact Production Readiness

Usher our new products from concept to production release by ensuring core operational checklists are completed supporting manufacturability at high volume.

Demand & Supply Alignment:

Translate customer demand for prototypes, pilots and production ramp into actionable resource requirements, including raw materials, capacity enablement, and manufacturing schedules.

Order Management:

Manage supply allocation and sales orders, including assigning Schedule Ship Dates (SSD) for new orders and revisions.

Managing Planning Parameters:

Proactively analyze and manage system lead times and yields, communicating updates weekly to ensure customer requirements are met.

Internal Customer Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing timely responses (within 24 hours). Understand customer demand and translate to resource requirements (raw materials, loading plan, capacity need, etc)

Materials Management:

Oversee the procurement of materials and purchase order (PO) timing against schedules.

Manufacturing Execution:

Issue assembly build instructions in collaboration with Assembly Engineering (ASY ENG), manage assembly loading schedules and priorities, and manage testing instructions and schedules with Test Engineering.

Fulfillment Oversight:

Create weekly assembly loading plans based on committed ship plans, and proactively monitor fulfillment to ensure on-time delivery.

Inventory Management:

Develop and maintain a rolling 6-month ship plan.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years in supply planning or supply chain management within the semiconductor industry.
• Experience working with semiconductor manufacturing processes and supply chain principles.
• Experience working with BOM structures, manufacturing routing processes (including alternative routes and materials), and product configurations.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced planning tools.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field - or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, specifically working with dynamic scenario planning.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.

The starting salary range posted for this position is $162,500.00 to $205,400.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benefits.

Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training. The full salary range for certain locations is listed below. • U.S. employees are eligible for paid time away as described below, subject to Cisco’s policies: 10 paid holidays per full calendar year, plus 1 floating holiday for non-exempt employees 1 paid day off for employee’s birthday, paid year-end holiday shutdown, and 4 paid days off for personal wellness determined by Cisco.
• Non-exempt employees** receive 16 days of paid vacation time per full calendar year, accrued at rate of 4.92 hours per pay period for full-time employees.
• Exempt employees participate in Cisco’s flexible vacation time off program, which has no defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use (subject to availability and some business limitations) 80 hours of sick time off provided on hire date and each January 1st thereafter, and up to 80 hours of unused sick time carried forward from one calendar year to the next.
• Additional paid time away may be requested to deal with critical or emergency issues for family members Optional 10 paid days per full calendar year to volunteer.
