Position: Silicon Lab Engineer (Mobile Device Validation & Hardware Rework)

Hands-on mobile device hardware work. The client is specifically looking for engineers who are comfortable working directly on mobile phones, performing teardown, rework, soldering, and hardware modifications in a lab environment.

Location: Austin, TX (100% onsite)

Hire Type: Full Time

Must-Have Skills:

• Mobile phone teardown and disassembly (Android/iPhone devices)
• Soldering, microsoldering and hardware rework
• BGA extraction, reballing, component replacement, and board modifications
• Hands-on lab experience using oscilloscopes, power analyzers, multimeters, etc.
• Board-level debugging and failure analysis
• Power and Performance Characterization
• Hardware troubleshooting and root cause analysis

Preferred Experience:

• Android or iOS device validation
• Power measurements and workload characterization
