Job summary

Lyte is seeking a hands-on Validation Engineer to bring custom silicon from first power-on to production readiness. You will own end-to-end characterization, bridging design intent and real-world silicon behavior in collaboration with analog, logic, and package teams.

You will build automated test infrastructure using Python/Perl, validate high-speed interfaces, and debug complex mixed-signal devices at the bench within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering from a top university.
• 2–8 years hands-on chip or system bringup and validation experience.
• Proficiency in Python or Perl for test automation and data analysis.
• Experience validating high-speed serial interfaces.
• Strong understanding of analog fundamentals and signal integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead silicon bringup for new tape-outs – first power-on through functional validation.
• Develop and execute structured test plans for functional, electrical, and performance validation.
• Characterize analog and digital circuit behavior against specs.
• Build automated test infrastructure using Python/Perl for high-throughput characterization.
• Debug mixed-signal devices and validate high-speed interfaces.
• Root-cause issues across design, process, and board levels.
