Job summary

Trace Systems Inc. is seeking an experienced SIL Systems Engineer to manage enterprise systems across a global transport network supporting US SOCOM and partners.

The role includes shift work and hands-on administration of Windows, Linux, virtualization, storage, and identity management for SIL LAB operations. Responsibilities cover monitoring, troubleshooting, deployment, patching, and documentation to ensure mission systems are secure and available.

Qualifications

• Active US Government Secret clearance (in-scope).
• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field OR equivalent experience.
• 4+ years administering servers/VMs/storage, patch/backup, and IAM.
• Ability to travel worldwide, including extended periods.
• Experience with Windows Server, Linux, virtualization platforms, and storage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, administer, troubleshoot, and restore enterprise systems across physical, virtual, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Support ISR mission systems and server infrastructure for reliable availability and performance.
• Coordinate with vendors and partners to integrate new technologies into the C2/ISR enterprise.
• Perform root-cause analysis of outages and document actions taken.
