Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a full-time Embedded Software Verification & Validation Engineer to join our Mossville, IL team.

This role focuses on expanding SIL and HIL verification for embedded control systems, using dSPACE, MATLAB/Simulink, and automation tools onsite. You will perform ECU integration, system-level verification, debugging, and validation reporting, collaborate with software and controls engineers, and contribute to product quality and delivery

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2–4 years of relevant experience in embedded software verification and validation.
Experience with HIL/SIL validation and testing.
Proficiency with dSPACE and MATLAB/Simulink.
Familiarity with Python and unit testing (gtest) for automation.

Responsibilities

Develop, execute, and maintain validation tests for embedded control software using dSPACE, MATLAB/Simulink, and automation tools.
Dedicate time to HIL/SIL test development and execution, test automation, debugging, and team planning.
Perform ECU integration, system-level verification, and root-cause analysis.
Support CAN/J1939 testing and diagnostics with Vector tools.
Read schematics, set up hardware, and troubleshoot HIL/SIL environments.
Collaborate daily with software, controls, and validation teams.
