Job summary

SCAD in Atlanta is seeking an events operations coordinator to manage signature events, exhibitions, receptions, and workshops. You will oversee setup, breakdown, and on-site logistics to ensure a seamless attendee experience.

You will negotiate contracts with vendors, maintain relationships, and assist with budget development and tracking while collaborating with marketing, facilities, and academic departments to reflect SCAD's brand and strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, business or related field.
• Experience coordinating events, preferably in educational or creative institutions.
• Proficient with event management software and tools.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site event management, logistics & setup.
