Job summary

Dover Networks LLC seeks a Signals Software Engineer in Maryland to develop, maintain, and enhance signal processing software. You will analyze requirements, design and code new features, and ensure tests and documentation meet standards.

The role supports RF systems and relies on C++, Java, and Linux expertise. Applicants must already hold TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph and cannot be sponsored for clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• At least seven (7) years' experience as a SSWE or equivalent on a project with a focus on RF to include Fourier transforms, filtering, and digital modulation.
• Four (4) years of additional SSWE or equivalent experience on projects with similar software processes may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Describe various signal processing techniques.
• Identify various digital modulation techniques.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified system or operating environments.
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.
• Develop/implement algorithms to meet system performance and functional standards.
• Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components.
• Write/review software and system documentation.
• Develop software solutions, confer with user or system engineers.
