DC Army National Guard seeks a Cryptologic Linguist (35P) to support national security by interpreting foreign language communications and presenting findings to analysts. You will train to earn a security clearance and work with signals intelligence equipment.

Responsibilities include identifying and analyzing foreign signals, providing translations, and contributing to intelligence tasking and reporting. Training ranges from basic to advanced, with language-proficiency pay and opportunities

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Must meet citizenship requirements and Army National Guard enlistment.
• Requires military enlistment and MOS assignment may depend on MOS availability.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze foreign communications
• Recognize changes in transmission modes and inform the appropriate authority
• Provide translation expertise to analysts
• Provide transcripts and translations from foreign communications
