Job summary

Optimus Technology, Inc. seeks a mission-critical help desk professional to support and maintain customer access systems for 24x7 operations. You will ensure front-end systems collect and transmit essential information for national decision-makers and troops, with focus on data and voice communications including DNR/DNI over IP.

You will work shifts ranging day, swing, mid-shift, weekends and holidays, and must understand the significance of your role within a vital 24x7 operation.

Qualifications

• Experience using Linux OS with command-line proficiency.
• FORNSAT experience is required for mission tasks.
• Experience with front-end collection systems and survey data.
• DNR/DNI collection and dataflow, including FOP configuration.
• Basic troubleshooting skills in complex networks.
• Ability to follow SOPs and update technical docs.
• Familiar with commercial SATCOM technologies.
• Basic Communications Signals Collection Course (450).
• Scripting: Bash, Shell, or Python experience.
• Familiar with Apache NiFi and dataflow tooling.
• Knowledge of network protocols and their applications.
• Intermediate Signals Analysis Course (451) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support, optimize and maintain assigned customer accesses.

Job description

Come join a dynamic, fast-paced watch center supporting 24x7 operations. In this mission-essential help desk role, you will maintain the customer's computers and networks, ensuring front-end systems continue to collect, process and transmit information vital to national decision makers and keep our troops safe.

The contract has a current opening for a candidate to support, optimize and maintain assigned customer accesses. The technology focus will be data and voice communications, including DNR (voice/FAX), DNI and other advance technologies over IP. To be considered, candidates must understand the significance of their role within the 24x7 mission essential TTO.

Must be able to support varying schedules. We do our best to schedule around individual preferences but shifts range from day, swing, and mid-shift including weekends and holidays.

Required Skills:
-Demonstrated experience using the Linux operating system, to include use of the command-line
-FORNSAT experience is required
