Immediate start and deep work in SIGINT target development are expected. The successful candidate will develop techniques, collect and analyze signals intelligence, work with Linux-based tools, and contribute to mission critical reporting for an IC

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph or above.
• Seven (7) years of SIGINT experience in IC or U.S. military.
• Experience developing techniques and tools for SIGINT target development.
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix command line and scripting (Bash, shell, Python).
• Experience with packet and stream protocols and IP technologies.
• Familiarity with SIGINT repositories and independent research.

Program Name: SIGINT mission support program covering collection systems engineering, target development, analysis, and reporting. Agency name: Intelligence Community (IC) customer, Fort George G. Meade, MD. Start Date: Immediate, upon offer acceptance and clearance transfer.

BizFirst is assisting our client with recruiting a skilled and experienced Signals Analyst.

This position supports the following program: a signals intelligence (SIGINT) mission support program that provides collection systems engineering, target development, analysis, reporting, and mission software development for an Intelligence Community customer. The position is onsite at Fort Meade, MD, and the role is open now for an immediate start.

Our client is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business that has supported U.S. defense and intelligence missions since 2012. Its systems, software, and data science engineers work side by side with government teams to model, design, integrate, and deploy complex mission systems, and the company also builds rugged RF hardware for specialized SIGINT applications.

Led by a U.S. Navy veteran with more than 30 years of DoD mission experience, the company supports programs alongside many of the largest national security integrators and has a long-established presence in Maryland near Fort Meade.

What will you do

Develop and apply the techniques and tools that turn signals intelligence (SIGINT) into answers for mission customers. You will collect, evaluate, analyze, document, locate, and present information according to established requirements and priorities, and use SIGINT and collateral report repositories along with your own research to advance target development. You will work with packet and stream protocols and other IP-based technologies, and use the software applications and databases that support SIGINT target development. This role suits a seasoned analyst with at least seven years of SIGINT experience in the Intelligence Community or the U.S. military who is comfortable on the Linux command line.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph or above.
• Seven (7) years of experience performing as a Signals Analyst supporting the Intelligence Community or U.S. military.
• Candidate with or without a degree are considered; the experience requirement is the same.
• Experience developing techniques and tools for collecting, evaluating, analyzing, documenting, locating, and presenting information according to established requirements and priorities.
• Familiarity with SIGINT and collateral report repositories, and the ability to show how you have used independent research to enhance target development.
• Experience with packet and stream protocols and other advanced technologies over IP.
• Experience using software applications and databases associated with SIGINT target development.
• Proficiency with the Linux/Unix command line and scripting (Bash, shell, and/or Python).
• Familiarity with data and voice communications technologies and network protocols.
• Ability to work onsite at Fort Meade, MD.

Desired Skills

• Experience with Apache NiFi.
• Military SIGINT background, such as Army 35N or 35S, Navy CTR, or Air Force 1N2.
• Formal SIGINT analytic training or qualifications.
