Job summary

Independent Software in Fort Meade, MD is seeking a Signals Analyst Level 1 to support mission-critical national security operations. You will analyze RF signals, identify structure, parameters, and behavior, and work with a team of analysts and engineers to produce actionable intelligence.

A Bachelor’s or equivalent, active TS SCI with polygraph is required, and strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Active TS SCI clearance with polygraph is required to be considered
• Experience in signals analysis across COMINT/ELINT/FISINT/PROFORMA and related domains
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Analyze RF signals to identify structure, parameters, and behavior
• Apply signals analysis techniques across COMINT, ELINT, FISINT, and PROFORMA domains
• Process and interpret signals data to support mission objectives
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and mission partners to support operational requirements
• Contribute to signal modeling and characterization efforts
• Maintain awareness of evolving signals analysis techniques and mission needs
