Job summary

Gridiron IT is seeking a DSP Engineer to design, develop, and validate DSP algorithms for signal processing and analysis. The role requires hands-on DSP experience, strong C++ and Python skills, and collaboration with UI teams to integrate DSP solutions into systems. Knowledge of GPU tools and HPC is valued.

Qualifications

• Strong C++ and Python programming experience.
• Familiarity with GPU development (CuPy/CUDA).
• Experience with HPC or near-realtime processing.
• Familiarity with Linux CLI and debugging/profiling.

Job Description

Gridiron IT is seeking a DSP Engineer to Demonstrated ability in related Digital Signal Processing engineering discipline. Supports engineering efforts that provide engineering, technical, and managerial direction for problem definition, analysis, requirement development, and implementation for complex systems in the engineering discipline required to meet technical requirements. Participates in efforts that develop recommendations and advice on system development, improvements, optimization, or support efforts.

Responsibilities

• Develop SharePoint from OOTB to custom applications and UX/UI (2010)
• Design, develop, and optimize DSP algorithms for signal acquisition, processing, and analysis.
• Implement DSP algorithms in software using programming languages such as Python, C/C++
• Conduct simulations and perform data analysis to validate algorithm performance and effectiveness.
• Work closely with User Interface Developers to integrate DSP solutions into systems and platforms.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement activities.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in DSP techniques, tools, and technologies.

Qualifications

• Required:3 years and Bachelors in related field
• 5 years and associates in related field
• 15+ years
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field with an emphasis on Digital Signal Processing
• 3–7 of hands‑on experience in DSP algorithm design and implementation
• TS//SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly
• Strong programming experience in C++ and Python
• Familiarity with GPU development, including CuPy and CUDA.
• Accelerated python libraries, numpy, scipy
• High-Performance Computing (HPC) or near-realtime processing

Core Engineering Skills

• Experience with: automated testing
• Familiarity with: Linux command line, debugging tools, performance profiling

Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Requires TS/SCI with ability to obtain CI Poly

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $109,000 - $150,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
