Job summary

Signalscape in Cary, NC, is seeking a software engineer to design and implement software for DSP/SIGINT systems. The role requires hands-on development across Fortran, C, C++, Python, and Java, with a focus on Linux environments and DSP assembly languages.

The successful candidate will contribute to mission-critical defense and intelligence projects, leveraging MATLAB/X-Midas and strong knowledge of communications theory, modulation/demodulation, and signal processing techniques. U.S.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Fortran, C, C++, Python, and Java.
• GUI related technologies.
• Experience in Linux and DSP assembly languages.
• Experience in communications or SIGINT systems development.
• U.S. Citizenship Required: due to security clearance requirements.
• BS required.
• Knowledge of communications systems theory with strengths in analog/digital modulation/demodulation.
• Knowledge of signal processing algorithms/techniques.

In this role, you will be responsible for design and implementation of software for DSP/SIGINT systems. This position is located in our Cary, NC office and offers a salary range of $120,000 to $170,000/year.

Requirements

• Fortran, C, C++, Python, Java.
  
• GUI related technologies.
  
• X-Midas and MATLAB experience.
  
• Experience in LINUX and DSP assembly languages
  
• Experience in communications or SIGINT systems development.
  
• BS required
  
• Knowledge of communications systems theory with strengths in analog/digital modulation/demodulation.
  
• Knowledge of signal processing algorithms/techniques.
  
• U.S. Citizenship Required: Due to the nature of this position and the requirement to maintain a U.S. government security clearance, only U.S. citizens are eligible.
