Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho seeks a Lab Engineer to design and conduct SI/PI experiments for wafer, package, and board-level characterization. You will perform EMI/EMC measurements, analyze results, and guide design teams while improving internal measurement platforms, collaborating with global teams and customers.

The role requires a BS in EE with 3+ years of related experience, strong SI/PI/EMI/EMC background, and familiarity with RF techniques and measurement equipment.

Qualifications

• BS in EE or similar field, 3+ years of relevant experience
• Strong background in signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC, RF engineering, antenna design or related electromagnetics
• Experience with measurement equipment: spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, TDR, near field probes, RF wafer probes, TEM/GTEM cells, anechoic chambers

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct laboratory experiments for SI/PI characterization of Micron components (wafer, package, board)
• Provide EMI/EMC measurements, analysis, and mitigation guidance for Micron products and customer systems
• Improve and develop internal measurement platforms and methodologies
• Communicate technical insights to application engineers, designers, team members and customers
• Provide EMC procedure guidance to Micron Global Quality team
• Use circuit and electromagnetic simulation tools for analysis and post processing
