Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority is seeking a Signal & Interlocking Inspector to lead and assist with field crews responsible for testing, maintenance, and installation of wayside control equipment for automatic train operation and signaling systems.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED, five years of rail signaling experience, and strong communication skills. Candidates must supervise personnel, manage records, and coordinate procurement across MBTA locations.
The Signal & Interlocking Inspector will assign, oversee, direct, and assist with the activities of the work crew(s) under their jurisdiction.
