Job summary

Samtec, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineering, Signal Integrity focused co-op to gain hands-on experience in high-speed interconnect design.

The student will work with our signal integrity group to complete projects and learn 3D electromagnetic modeling, VNA/TD measurements, and data analysis scripting. Candidates should be a junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with coursework in electromagnetics, microwave engineering, and DSP, and strong communication and

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work with senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Learn 3D electromagnetic modeling and high-speed interconnect analysis.
• Assist PCB, package, and connector interconnect analyses.
• Support interconnect measurements using VNA and Time Domain Reflectometry.
• Script to assist in post-process analysis data and learn industry metrics.
• Collaborate with managers and teams to complete assigned projects.
