Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in graphic design, print, signage or related field
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong design principles: color, typography, layout, and visual balance
• Ability to work directly with customers and sales staff in a professional manner
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare production files and proofs based on customer orders, job folders, and project specifications
• Create custom designs, logos, signage layouts, vectors, and other graphic materials
• Review files and completed designs for accuracy before sending projects to production
• Prepare layouts for production equipment while minimizing material waste
• Communicate with customers, sales, and production teams regarding designs, proofs, deadlines, and project issues
• Assist customers and sales representatives with design-related questions and project needs
• Assist with signage production and installation as needed
• Operate or learn production equipment and software, including printers, laminators, cutters, and RIP software
• Maintain organized project files and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
