Job summary

FASTSIGNS is hiring a full-time Graphic Designer in Scranton to join our team. You will create computer-generated graphics and vinyl output, adjust designs from customer files, and ensure output accuracy and proper device settings.

The role requires lifting 50 pounds and working under pressure to deliver high-volume, high-quality work. Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of graphic design experience, a High School diploma or equivalent, and proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of graphic design experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator.
• Ability to prioritize jobs, multi-task, and work autonomously.
• Determine the best output method based on the customer’s needs.
• Sit and view a computer screen for long periods (4 hours or more).
• Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work.
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.

Responsibilities

• Create computer-generated full-color graphics and/or vinyl output for printing and mounting.
• Complete or modify designs from customer drawings or files for media output.
• Determine size and arrangement of material and copy, select type, and layout.
• Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending to output; ensure correct material and device settings.
• Maintain customer logo library; convert graphic files.
• Maintain and operate flatbed and roll-to-roll printers.
