Job summary

Atlas Sign Industries, based in Florida, is seeking an Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial signage projects. You will review drawings, specifications, bid documents, and customer requirements to determine material, labor, freight, and installation costs while aligning with profitability goals.

The role requires 3–5 years of estimating experience in signage or related industries, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work across Engineering, Purchasing, and Production

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple bids, revisions, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, bid documents, and customer requirements to define project scope.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior and exterior signage and related systems.
• Calculate costs for materials, fabrication labor, finishing, electrical components, freight, and installation.
• Obtain and evaluate pricing from vendors, subcontractors, and installers to support bids.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Project Management to confirm constructability and lead times.
• Prepare pricing for change orders, revisions, and value-engineering options.
