Job summary

Signworks in Indianapolis, IN is hiring a Sign Installer to join our team. You will install and maintain signs on storefronts, schools, and corporate sites, often outdoors, at varying heights.

We train mechanically inclined applicants with or without prior sign experience. A valid driver's license and willingness to work varied hours are required, with CDL being a bonus if applicable.

Qualifications

Overview

We are seeking a Sign Installer to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. If you are mechanically inclined, like working outdoors can drive lift trucks and work at varying heights this could be the perfect opportunity for you! As a sign installer, you will be working on storefronts, in schools and universities and for corporate clients.

Don’t have sign experience? No problem, we will train individuals that are mechanically inclined, or have training in electrical work, carpentry, or general construction.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain various types of signs, including channel letters, monument signs, pylon signs, ADA compliant signage and graphics


• Previous Sign industry experience is a plus - but not required.


• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.


• Comfortable using hand and power tools safely and effectively during installation on a regular basis.


• Collaborate with team members to ensure project specifications are met.


• Conduct site surveys to assess installation locations and requirements.


• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on-site.

Typical working hours are Monday - Friday from 7 AM - 4 PM, however there are opportunities and needs for later hours and occasionally some weekend work - overtime is available.
