Job summary

A local signage company in New Hampshire is seeking a skilled technician to carry out repairs and maintenance on various lighting systems and signage. The role requires a strong background in electrical troubleshooting and the capability to handle both minor and major repairs. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma and a CDL B license. This full-time position offers various shifts from Monday to Friday, along with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Capable of completing minor and major sign and lighting service repairs.
• Knowledge of fluorescent lamp and ballast troubleshooting.
• CDL B or higher license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute repairs, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on indoor and outdoor lighting systems.
• Repair and replace plex/acrylic/polycarb faces in signs.
• Install signs as needed and perform truck maintenance.

Responsibilities

Responsible for executing repairs, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on, including but not limited to, indoor lighting systems, electrical systems, outdoor facility lighting, signs, parking lot lights, wall packs, indoor and outdoor neon. Strong electrical troubleshooting background highly recommended.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Capable of completing minor and major sign and lighting service repairs.
• Capable of repainting a sign in the field.
• Repair and replace plex/acrylic/polycarb faces in signs.
• Knowledge of neon units and transformers.
• Knowledge of LED systems and how to troubleshoot outages.
• Fluorescent lamp and ballast troubleshooting.
• HID lighting troubleshooting, parking lot lights, exterior lighting, & wall packs.

Marginal Duties & Responsibilities

• Installs signs as needed.
• Perform truck and equipment maintenance as needed.
• Fill out reports, paperwork, and customer information as needed.
• Performs other functions as necessary or as assigned.

Schedule

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime

Education

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience

Maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification

CDL B or higher (Preferred)
