Job summary

YESCO Houston South and Dallas South is seeking a qualified Service Technician to repair and maintain exterior electrical, non-electrical signs, and lighting systems. You will operate a 50′ bucket truck, document work orders, and interact with customers and company sales representatives.

Apprentice and Journeyman levels are accepted. Candidates must be able to work outdoors in all weather, lift to heights of 40′, and occasionally work overtime with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be a self-starter with good organization skills, a can do positive attitude and attention to detail while working with minimal supervision.
• Clean MVR
• Ability to operate a 50′ bucket truck.
• 1-5+ years of electrical/sign service repair experience preferred
• Capable of completing minor / major sign and lighting service repairs consistent with specifications and electrical codes
• Work outdoors in all kinds of weather
• Flexible to work overtime as needed
• Work at heights of 40′ or greater
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Familiarity with smart phones and tablets
• Must be safety oriented

Qualified candidates must operate aerial equipment, be knowledgeable about electrical issues, properly document work orders, and communicate with customers and company sales representatives. Apprentice and Journeyman accepted.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 an hour
