Job summary

Char-Dell Company dba FASTSIGNS – Blaine/Ham Lake is seeking a hands-on Sign Production Technician for on-site, day-shift work. You will turn designs into finished signs using large-format printers, CNC cutters, and finishing tools.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, craftsmanship, and problem-solving, with opportunities to grow in a tight-knit production team focused on quality.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in sign production, printing, or similar hands-on work.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50+ lbs.
• Comfortable using tools and production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate large-format printers, laminators, and CNC equipment.
• Prepare materials (cutting, cleaning, laminating, painting).
• Weed and apply vinyl graphics with precision.
• Trim, mount, and finish final products.
• Follow and verify work orders for accuracy.
• Help maintain an organized, efficient production area.
• Partner with the owner and production lead/manager to build and maintain production processes, helping shape how work flows through the shop as we continue to grow.

This is not a warehouse or forklift position. This is skilled, hands-on production work where attention to detail, craftsmanship, and problem-solving matter every day.
