FASTSIGNS is hiring for a full-time Sign Production Specialist in Stamford, CT. The role follows layouts to apply vinyl and graphics to substrates and involves substrate prep, lamination, and finishing.

You will operate printers, perform QA against Work Orders, and help maintain clean, organized storage areas while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of sign production experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50+ pounds.
• Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table while applying vinyl.
• Ability to work under pressure to produce high-volume, quality work.

Responsibilities

• Follow a layout to place vinyl or full-color graphics on substrates.
• Prepare substrates including cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, etc.
• Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images; adjust for size and complexity.
• Operate and maintain printer(s).
• Perform quality checks per Work Order and proof for errors.
• Finish pieces by laminating or mounting as needed.
• Report inventory levels and stock to center/production manager.
• Clean and maintain storage areas.

FASTSIGNS #420801 is hiring for a full-time Sign Production Specialist to join our team!

A Successful FASTSIGNS Sign Production Specialist Will:

• Follow a layout to place computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic image(s) on a predetermined substrate or medium
• Prepare substrates for vinyl application to include cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, etc
• Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images. Weeding techniques vary with size, type of vinyl, and complexity of images
• Operate and maintain printer(s)
• Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting a Work Order and then proofing for errors or unacceptable standards
• Perform finishing operations such as laminating and/or mounting of printed pieces
• Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the center manager/production manager or franchisee.
• Clean and maintain storage areas
  
  
  

Ideal Qualifications for FASTSIGNS Sign Production Specialist:

• 1-2 years of experience in sign production preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (4 hours or more)
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
• Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate
• Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work
