FASTSIGNS #111501 is seeking a part-time Sign Production Specialist in Mooresville, NC. The role involves following layouts to apply vinyl and graphics, preparing substrates, and operating printers.

You will weed vinyl, perform quality checks, and complete finishing steps like laminating or mounting. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in sign production, can stand for long periods, lift 50+ pounds, and work under pressure with light power tools.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in sign production preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods (4+ hours).
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table to apply vinyl.

Responsibilities

• Follow a layout to apply vinyl or full-color graphics to substrates.
• Prepare substrates for vinyl application (cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning).
• Weed excess vinyl from images; adjust for size and complexity.
• Operate and maintain printer(s).
• Read Work Orders and verify quality pre- and post-production.
• Finish pieces by laminating and/or mounting.
• Report inventory levels to the center/production manager.
• Clean and maintain storage areas.

FASTSIGNS #111501 is hiring for a part-time Sign Production Specialist to join our team!

A Successful FASTSIGNS Sign Production Specialist Will:

• Follow a layout to place computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic image(s) on a predetermined substrate or medium
• Prepare substrates for vinyl application to include cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, etc
• Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images. Weeding techniques vary with size, type of vinyl, and complexity of images
• Operate and maintain printer(s)
• Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting a Work Order and then proofing for errors or unacceptable standards
• Perform finishing operations such as laminating and/or mounting of printed pieces
• Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the center manager/production manager or franchisee.
• Clean and maintain storage areas

Ideal Qualifications for FASTSIGNS Sign Production Specialist:

• 1-2 years of experience in sign production preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (4 hours or more)
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
• Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate
• Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work
• Ability to use light power equipment
