Job summary

FASTSIGNS #380301 is hiring for a full-time Sign Production Specialist to join our team. You will follow layouts to apply vinyl and graphics, prepare substrates, and operate printers in a fast-paced production environment.

The role requires standing for extended periods, lifting 50+ pounds, and maintaining quality through thorough pre- and post-production checks. This position offers opportunities for advancement and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in sign production preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (4 hours or more).
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
• Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and apply vinyl letters and graphics.
• Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work.
• Ability to use light power equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow a layout to place computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic image(s) on a substrate or medium.
• Prepare substrates for vinyl application including cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, etc.
• Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images; techniques vary by size/type of vinyl.
• Operate and maintain printer(s).
• Perform quality assurance measures by reading a Work Order and proofing for errors or unacceptable standards.
• Finish by laminating or mounting printed pieces.
• Report inventory levels and stock to the center manager/production manager or franchisee.
• Clean and maintain storage areas.

FASTSIGNS #380301 is hiring for a full-time Sign Production Specialist to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Follow a layout to place computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic image(s) on a predetermined substrate or medium
• Prepare substrates for vinyl application to include cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, etc
• Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images. Weeding techniques vary with size, type of vinyl, and complexity of images
• Operate and maintain printer(s)
• Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting a Work Order and then proofing for errors or unacceptable standards
• Perform finishing operations such as laminating and/or mounting of printed pieces
• Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the center manager/production manager or franchisee
• Clean and maintain storage areas
