Job summary

Signarama Houston is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to run our sign manufacturing and installation operations. You will oversee every job from receiving to invoicing, manage the schedule, keep equipment and trucks running, and ensure installations are completed correctly the first time.

You will lead a production team, train new hires, plan capacity to hit monthly targets, and coordinate with subcontracted installers nationwide while maintaining a safe, efficient shop environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing production in a sign shop, print shop, or similar fabrication environment.
• 2+ years supervising a team of 3+ people.
• Experience scheduling installs or field technicians.
• Hands-on knowledge of wide-format printers, CNC routers, plotters, and laminators.

Responsibilities

• Move every job through receiving, design, permitting, production, QA, scheduling, install, and invoicing.
• Schedule local install crews and service technicians; ensure trucks leave with materials.
• Manage subcontractor install vendors for nationwide jobs; handle from install package to completion photos.
• Keep shop equipment and fleet maintained to minimize downtime.
• Train new production hires and coach the team; maintain shop safety.
• Plan capacity to hit monthly targets.

Hit the number.At Signarama Houston we design, build, and install signs for businesses, both here in Houston and at job sites across the US. We need a hands-on Production Manager to take every job from order to invoice.
