Job summary

Allied Electric Sign & Awning Co. is seeking a Paint Associate in Vineyard, UT. The role involves painting and finishing sign products, preparing surfaces, matching colors, and ensuring durable finishes that meet production specs and customer needs.

You will collaborate with fabrication, paint prep, installation, and project management teams to maintain schedules and quality. Responsibilities include surface prep, paint mixing, inventory maintenance, and quality control.

Qualifications

• Experience in paint preparation, automotive paint, powder coating, industrial finishing, or sign manufacturing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience reading shop drawings and production documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces and apply paints and coatings according to specifications.
• Read work orders and production documents; prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
• Inspect finished surfaces for defects and ensure quality standards.
• Assist with movement of signs and components; support fabrication and installation teams.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment; follow PPE and safety procedures.
